Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Regression Tester. The Regression Tester will be responsible for executing and maintaining regression test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, and ensuring the overall quality and stability of software applications. Day-to-day tasks include developing and refining test plans, collaborating with the development team to understand new features and changes, and continuously updating regression test suites. The tester will also participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute regression test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and/or automated regression testing on web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using our issue tracking system.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality releases.
• Maintain and update regression test suites as features evolve.
Provide clear and detailed feedback on product stability after updates.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Regression Tester, QA Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of regression testing methodologies and QA best practices.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, ClickUp).
• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience testing SaaS products, web portals, and APIs.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for troubleshooting.
