Idlewoods Ltd is recruiting a detail oriented and professional Project Manager to join its team. Idlewoods is a firm of Consulting Architects, Environmental Planners and Real Estate Professionals, whose goal is to provide services that meet the architectural needs and requirements of our clientele without compromising on exquisite detailing, efficient space planning and city planning requirements.

Experience Length: 3-5 years

Location: Lagos Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing design, renovation and construction projects from start to finish.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Collaborating with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team.
- Conducting site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
- Ensuring the preparation of Bill of Quantities and Material and Labour Schedules.
- Preparing progress report and advising the team on any delay on the project.
- Visiting site for valuation of work done and relate with consultant to get valuation approval/payment certificate.
- Tracking the execution of work with the contract BOQ for any changes variation.
- Ensuring claims for variations are handled.
- Negotiating with subcontractors.
- Ensuring the preparation of payment schedules for the subcontractor and timely payment to avoid delay.
- Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiating agreement terms, manage construction contract drafts, bid on projects and obtain permits to analyze and mitigate risks. Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or HND in Architecture, Engineering or Quantity Surverying.
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work well within a team including all members of staff, clients and contractors.
- Must possess excellent negotiation and numeracy skills.
- Good understanding of technical drawings, schematics and specifications.
- Must possess high verbal and written communication.
- Must possess good leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the use of project management.
- Must possess strong analytical and critical thinking skill and must be detail-oriented. Project management certification is an added advantage.
