We are looking for a qualified Carpenter to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. Your job will entail working in the factory to produce quality and functional furniture products
Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints, sketches, and design specifications.
- Choose appropriate materials (wood, metal, fabric, etc.) based on design and functionality.
- Inspect materials for quality and suitability.
- Measure and mark materials according to specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and form parts.
- Assemble parts using nails, screws, adhesives, and other fasteners.
- Ensure joints are secure and pieces fit together correctly.
- Inspect completed pieces for accuracy, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
- Make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Maintain and repair tools and equipment.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Work closely with other team members, including designers, carpenters, and finishers.
- Provide input on design improvements and production processes.
- Use protective equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain detailed logs of work processes and completed tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE and Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter.
- Additional certification like a trade test may be required
- An analytical mind for problem-solving
- The ability to work alone or as part of a small team
- Ability to follow instructions closely
- Attention to detail

Pay: From ₦120,000.00 per month
