Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Production Officer to manage and coordinate daily operations within our food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal production output, ensuring strict adherence to food safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of daily production activities.
• Ensure adherence to established food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
• Assist with production planning, scheduling, and the efficient allocation of materials and manpower.
• Monitor equipment functionality and initiate timely maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Maintain accurate production logs, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety across the production floor.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Agricultural Engineering, or any related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of food safety systems (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and streamline production processes.
• Sound understanding of production equipment and semi-mechanized operations.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
