We are looking for a production manager in a printing press, who can ensure achievement of set targets for the unit and the organization by working with the team to ensure uninterrupted production through effective maintenance of all machines and utilities.
Responsibilities:
QUALITY
- Print Quality: Evaluate overall print quality
- Color Accuracy: Monitor color consistency and accuracy
PRODUCTIVITY
- Efficiency: calculate the percentage of productive time versus downtime
- Cycle time: track the time taken to complete a print job
COST:
- Waste reduction: monitor and reduce waste
- Inventory management: Track inventory levels and minimize excess
COMPLIANCE
- Track and minimize workplace safety incident
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations
CUSTOMER STATISFACTION
- Monitor and address customer complaints
Essential attributes and experience:
- 5-10 years’ experience as a production manager in a printing press
- Quick to learn and adapt
- Proper use of Excel and MS word
