Position Summary
The production Manager will be responsible for managing the production and installation team, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standard and standard products, meeting project timelines, maintaining a positive work culture, team coordination and clients' satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning: Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure efficient use of resources.
2. Team Management: Manage and supervise a team of production and installation staff, including training, development, and performance management.
3. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet high-quality standard, and implement quality control processes to minimize defects.
4. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in progress, and finished goods to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
5. Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs, including labour, materials, and overheads.
6. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficient and productivity.
7. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements & Qualifications
1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in furniture production management or a related field.
2. Education: Degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
3. Knowledge: Knowledge of furniture production processes, quality control, and inventory management.
4. Certifications: Certifications in lean manufacturing, six sigma, or a related field are desirable.
5. Industry Experience: Experience in the furniture manufacturing industry.
6. Leadership Experience: Experience leading a team of production staff.
