We are seeking a Product Manager who is passionate about building great products, ensuring smooth user experiences, and driving growth. This role requires a proactive leader who can take ownership of the product lifecycle, from strategy to execution and deliver measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Wudify Africa’s business goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities.
- Lead product development and innovation, from ideation through design, testing, and launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, design, vendors, and operations) to deliver products that meet user and business needs.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, turning insights into actionable product improvements.
- Oversee project management, ensuring timely delivery of product iterations and feature releases.
- Monitor sales and product performance, using data to guide decisions and optimize the product offering.
- Manage vendor and supplier integration into the platform to improve product availability and efficiency.
- Ensure consistent brand positioning and communication across the product experience.
- Manage product budgets, prioritization, and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally within e-commerce, retail, or tech platforms.
- Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management, UX/UI principles, and Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to define product requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for development teams.
- Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.) and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a hybrid work environment.
