The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s purchasing and supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. This includes developing and implementing procurement strategies, identifying and managing suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts, and monitoring vendor performance to maintain quality and reliability. The role ensures that all goods and services are purchased within budget and according to operational needs, while aligning with company objectives.
The Procurement Manager oversees end-to-end purchasing processes, manages inventory schedules, and ensures adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. They work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to forecast demand, support menu and product development, and ensure optimal sourcing solutions. In addition, the Procurement Manager is accountable for maintaining accurate procurement documentation, enforcing ethical purchasing practices, mitigating supply risks, and driving cost-saving initiatives.
The position also requires preparing reports and analytics on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings, while leveraging insights to improve sourcing strategies. By leading vendor management, ensuring compliance, and fostering collaborative relationships, the Procurement Manager plays a critical role in sustaining smooth operations, reducing costs, and supporting business growth.
