Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Provide market insights, competitor intelligence, and client feedback to inform service innovation and strategic planning.
- Identify and develop new opportunities across Nigeria and other regional markets, expanding the institute’s client base and partnerships.
- Identify client needs and recommend suitable training, programs, or services.
- Collaborate with Capacity Building, Membership Services, and other departments to align goals and ensure improvement in customer satisfaction levels through consistent service delivery and client engagement.
- Drive membership growth by engaging both government agencies and private sector organizations.
- Develop and manage accurate marketing forecasts and reporting.
- Regularly evaluate market trends to refine go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor KPIs and marketing performance metrics, using insights to inform strategy.
- Identify areas of improvement and implement effective marketing solutions.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Optimize marketing spend and ensure strong return on investment (ROI).
- Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate best practices into the Institute’s marketing efforts.
Qualification & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years cognate experience in marketing, including at least 4 years in a managerial role—preferably in a professional or membership-based institution.
- Professional Memberships: Must be a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in both digital and traditional marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Google Ads, HubSpot, or PMP are a plus.
