We are seeking a dynamic and talented Radio & TV Presenter/Producer to join our TV and Radio teams. As a Presenter/Producer, you’ll create and deliver engaging, informative, and entertaining content, connecting with our audience through both radio and television broadcasts. This role combines on-air hosting with production responsibilities, requiring creativity, adaptability, and technical proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Production
- Develop show ideas, research topics, write scripts, and select appropriate music/audio content.
- Produce scripts and show preps for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with show standards and formats.
- Submit show preps to Line Manager and Head of Programs for review and approval.
Voice Overs
- Deliver high-quality voice overs for radio and TV based on approved scripts.
On-Air Hosting (Radio & TV)
- Introduce programs, songs, segments, and guests with energy and professionalism.
- Engage with audiences via phone calls, social media, YouTube, and other approved platforms.
- Promote and review products from Konga.com and various brands during broadcasts.
Interview Programs
- Source and arrange guests for assigned shows, preparing relevant questions and briefing guests.
- Conduct engaging interviews for live or recorded programs.
Audience Engagement
- Foster community by responding to listener/viewer feedback and interacting through approved channels.
Technical Operation
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth broadcasts, operating equipment like microphones, cameras, consoles, and mixers.
- Utilize audio/video editing tools (e.g., Capcut, Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro) and graphic design apps (e.g., Canva).
Public Relations, Social Media & Marketing
- Promote shows and the station via social media, online platforms, and networking events.
- Participate in strategic marketing to drive revenue for assigned shows.
Reporting
- Submit weekly reports to the Head of Business via Line Manager and quarterly progress reports as required.
Qualifications
- Excellent Communication: Clear pronunciation, engaging delivery, and strong written skills.
- Creativity: Ability to create and present compelling content for radio and TV.
- Adaptability & Quick Thinking: Handle unexpected situations, ad-lib, and host various show types.
- Knowledge & Research: Stay informed on current events, business, music trends, and relevant topics.
- Interpersonal Skills: Build rapport with guests, listeners, and production teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Operate broadcasting equipment and use editing/design software.
