Job Title: Independent Power Producer (IPP) Operator

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable IPP Operator to oversee the operation of our power generation systems, including turbines, generators, and associated plant equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure continuous, efficient, and safe power production while adhering to operational procedures, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and control plant systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and performance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Respond swiftly to operational emergencies and restore system functionality.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize output and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in power plant operations or similar role.
• Proven ability to operate and maintain turbines, generators, and related systems.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with a safety-first mindset.
Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

Work Conditions

• Shift-based operations, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Physically fit to work in industrial environments and handle operational equipment.
