Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Presales with experience in handling government tenders and large-scale proposals. The role requires deep collaboration with Business Development, technical, legal, and operations teams to deliver compelling proposals and presentations that align with client requirements—especially within the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Presales Activities:
- Understand customer requirements, respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs with high-quality proposals.
- Develop and deliver tailored offering presentations.
- Work closely with the Business Development team to craft winning Business Development strategies.
2. Government Tender Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and respond to tenders floated by government and public sector clients (e.g., procurement portals).
- Ensure compliance with all government norms, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare technical and commercial bid documents including BoQ, project timelines, compliance matrices, and certifications.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., OEMs, legal consultants) to gather necessary documentation and inputs.
- Track tender timelines, including submission deadlines, clarifications, bid openings, and award notifications.
3. Proposal and Documentation Management:
- Create high-impact proposals that are technically sound and commercially competitive.
- Maintain a repository of templates, standard documents, certifications, and past proposals.
- Work with design and documentation teams for high-quality formatting and submission.
4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a point of contact between the organization and government procurement authorities.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in public sector accounts.
- Engage with partners, system integrators, and OEMs for collaborative bids.
5. Process and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to internal governance and compliance processes for bid approvals.
- Maintain accurate records of bid submissions, outcomes, and post-tender analysis. Stay updated with government procurement policies (GFR, GEM, CVC guidelines, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT / Business or related field. MBA preferred.
- 6–10 years of experience in presales, with at least 2–5 years handling government tenders.
- Proven track record of successful bid submissions in the public sector. Familiarity with GEM, CPPP, and state-level eProcurement platforms.
Skills Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Project management and multitasking ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and proposal management tools. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to timelines and documentation.
