About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented, persuasive communicator to join our team as an Outreach Specialist. In this role, you'll help clients get their foot in the door by reaching out directly to recruiters, potential referrers, and decision-makers. You'll also help us build and maintain our internal recruiter and referral network, shaping how we connect great candidates with real opportunities beyond just job boards.
Key Responsibilities
- Research companies, roles, and decision-makers to identify the right contacts for each client's target positions
- Send personalized outreach messages via email or LinkedIn using pre-approved templates
- Manage follow-ups, track outcomes, and maintain a clear, organized outreach log
- Manage multiple client outreach campaigns simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Build and maintain Job Wingman's internal referral and recruiter network over time
- Identify patterns and suggest improvements to our outreach strategy and targeting Coordinate with resume and application team members if client needs shift

- Adapt tone quickly - warm and casual for a referral, sharp and professional for a recruiter
- Are a self-starter and can work independently without daily hand-holding
- Comfortable working remotely and communicating asynchronously
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills Understand professional networking etiquette (LinkedIn best practices, email timing, etc.)
Required Experience
- 2+ years of experience in outreach, sales, business development, or recruiting
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport quickly
- Proficiency with CRM systems, LinkedIn, and other professional networking platforms
- Experience with email marketing platforms and social media management
- Proven ability to manage clean, organized contact databases Experience managing multiple projects or campaigns simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales or prospecting mindset - you understand outreach is a numbers game and stay motivated by metrics
- Prior experience writing cold emails or handling candidate outreach
- Experience in recruiting, career services, HR, or lead generation
- Knowledge of various industries and how different sectors approach hiring
- Understanding of recruiting terminology and how hiring processes work
- Experience with contact-finding tools like Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and how applications flow through them
Details:
Location: Remote (Nigeria-based)
Pay: ₦75,000/month + benefits (With a performance-based review and opportunity for increased compensation after 90 days)
