About the Role:
As a Virtual Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students and parents interested in studying abroad. You’ll handle inbound inquiries, conduct virtual consultations, explain services, answer questions, and guide prospects through the enrollment and payment process—turning interested leads into satisfied, paying customers.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Respond promptly to inbound leads from social media, website, email, WhatsApp, and phone calls.
✅ Conduct virtual consultations (via Zoom, Google Meet, or phone) with students and/or parents.
✅ Provide accurate information on admissions, visas, program options, scholarships, timelines, and costs.
✅ Address objections and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and confidence.
✅ Guide prospects through application and onboarding paperwork, ensuring a smooth experience.
✅ Follow up systematically on warm leads until enrollment is complete.
✅ Maintain detailed records of conversations, progress, and outcomes in a CRM or tracking spreadsheet.
✅ Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for new student enrollments.
✅ Collaborate with your Social Media Manager to give feedback on lead quality, FAQs, and recurring concerns.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ proven experience in sales, admissions counseling, education consulting, or a customer-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of international education destinations (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe) is a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken English; ability to speak a Nigerian language is an advantage.
- Confident phone and video communication skills.
- Organized and self-motivated, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Basic proficiency in productivity tools (Google Workspace/Microsoft Office) and CRM software. Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for calls.
