About The Role

• Taybuwtah International School is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to lead music education across various grade levels.
The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons, practical performance sessions, and creative activities that foster appreciation for music in all its forms.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured music lessons in line with the Nigerian and British curricula
• Teach students how to read music, play instruments, and understand musical theory and history
• Organize and prepare students for school performances, concerts, and special events
• Encourage creative expression through singing, instrumental practice, and composition
• Manage and maintain music instruments and classroom resources
• Identify and support students with exceptional musical talents
• Incorporate digital tools and audio-visual materials to enhance learning
Participate in school programs, meetings, and extra-curricular activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Music Education, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a school setting
• Proficiency in at least one musical instrument
• Strong knowledge of music theory, composition, and performance techniques
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to work with students of varying skill levels and backgrounds
Creativity, patience, and passion for music and teaching.

Salary

N70,000 – N100,000 net monthly.
