Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Montessori Director/Directress to join our school. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Montessori principles and practices, with the ability to guide children in the 3–6 years age range through a nurturing, child-centered learning environment.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Montessori lessons in line with the curriculum for children aged 3–6 years.
- Create a stimulating, supportive, and structured classroom environment that fosters independence, creativity, and a love for learning.
- Guide students individually and in groups using Montessori materials and methods.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
- Maintain classroom order through effective management and respect for Montessori practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching standards and holistic development of learners.
- Encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in children.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and creativity in daily interactions with learners. Uphold school policies and Montessori philosophy in teaching and classroom management.
Requirements:
- 3 years and above
- Preferred Residence: Surulere and environs
- Diploma in Montessori Education (DMT) 3 years to 6 years
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate will be an added advantage.
- Skill, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Good understanding of Montessori principles, effective communication skills, classroom management skills creativity, patience, etc.
