Role: Sales Executive – FMCG Modern Trade Location: Abuja Work Mode: Onsite (field-based, with occasional office visits as needed) Salary: ₦250,000 gross + Commission Job Brief: Our Client in the FMCG is seeking for experienced Sales Executives with a strong background in Modern Trade sales within the FMCG sector. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling their cashew products to modern trade outlets like supermarkets, hypermarkets, and chain stores. You will also manage key accounts, negotiate product placement, and drive sales growth through in-store execution and customer relationships. Responsibilities: -Promote and sell cashew products to modern trade outlets (supermarkets, hypermarkets, chain stores). -Build and manage relationships with modern trade buyers and store managers. -Negotiate shelf space, pricing, and promotional deals with retailers. -Execute in-store promotions and product displays to enhance visibility and sales. -Monitor and analyze competitor activities, market trends, and consumer behavior. -Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). -Provide regular sales reports and feedback to management. Requirements: -3-6 years of experience in FMCG sales, specifically in Modern Trade (supermarkets, hypermarkets, and chain stores). -Strong knowledge of modern trade structures, sales negotiations, and retail merchandising. -Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. -Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field. -Ability to meet sales targets and provide insights into market dynamics.
