Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Marketplace Operations Manager to lead and oversee our day-to-day marketplace execution in Aba. This role demands operational excellence with a strong focus on seller onboarding, catalog integrity, and field operations management. You'll manage a team of Field Agents, collaborate with distributors and logistics partner

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Field Agents in Aba, set performance goals, and ensure accountability.
- Oversee the complete seller onboarding lifecycle from registration to catalog curation.
- Maintain the accuracy and completeness of product listings, pricing, and inventory.
- Engage with distributors to onboard wholesale sellers and verify product authenticity and stock
- Collaborate with the buyer community team to drive sales of fast-moving inventory.
- Continuously suggest improvements in seller experience, packaging quality, and operational processes. Monitor marketplace benchmarks and drive strategies for improvement
Requirements:
- Must be based in Aba or willing to relocate.
- Strong people management skills, especially managing dispersed or field-based teams
- Excellent coordination and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in lean, resource-constrained startup environments Operationally minded with experience in designing and refining workflows and SOPs
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred, not required
- 3–5 years in marketplace operations, trade logistics, FMCG distribution, or related fields
- Prior experience working with informal retailers or SMEs is a strong plus
- Experience leading field or remote teams is highly desirable
- Familiarity with seller onboarding or informal trade digitization is a plus
