ROLE: LOGISTICS MANAGER
MODE: ONSITE (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)

Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Operations Management
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain.
- Oversee daily operations for transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Negotiate with transporters, shipping companies, and freight forwarders for cost efficiency.
- Maintain proper documentation for shipments, imports, and exports.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams.
- Ensure accurate stock records and minimize inventory discrepancies.
- Supervise warehouse operations to ensure proper storage, safety, and handling.
- Implement best practices in warehouse layout and material flow.
Cost & Performance Management
- Develop budgets for logistics operations and monitor expenses.
- Track and analyze key logistics metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, freight costs, stock turnover).
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure vendors meet performance and service-level agreements.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations.
- Oversee customs clearance and documentation for imports/exports.
- Enforce safety and quality standards in transportation and warehousing.
- Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions.
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop logistics staff, including supervisors, drivers, and warehouse officers.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CILT, APICS, Lean Six Sigma) are an advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
