About the Role
We are launching IXGC (Inclusive Governance & Citizen Platform) – a new pan-African initiative focused on innovation, essential service delivery, and citizen engagement. We are seeking a Launch Project Executive to provide full-cycle execution support across operations, marketing, design, sales, sponsorship, speaker onboarding, and stakeholder engagement.
You will work closely with the CEO and our South Africa-based project lead to ensure delivery, quality, and responsiveness across time zones. This is a remote, results-based contract role – focused on outcomes rather than fixed hours, but requiring high commitment, independence, and strong digital skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Track project timelines, deliverables, deadlines, and updates across multiple workstreams.
- CRM & Tracking: Maintain contact databases (speakers, sponsors, partners); record and follow up on leads.
- Design & Branding Support: Create or adapt pitch decks, reports, and visuals using Canva or similar tools.
- Meeting Support: Schedule calls with Calendly, prepare agendas, assist on Zoom, take notes, and follow up.
- Marketing & Comms: Assist in managing social content calendars, outreach emails, and marketing admin.
- Sponsor & Stakeholder Support: Prepare briefs, onboarding materials, and coordinate logistics. Logistics & Operations: Keep the team organised, facilitate smooth collaboration across borders and time zones.
Required Skills
- High proficiency in Canva, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and email marketing tools.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Airtable, Notion, or similar).
- Ability to run Zoom/Google Meet calls professionally, with no audio/internet issues.
- Strong administrative and project follow-up skills.
- Excellent timekeeping and communication.
- Confident, detail-oriented, and responsive under pressure. Experience in event coordination, business operations, or stakeholder engagement is a bonus.
Conditions
- Daily 6am – 9am check in with South Africa (7am – 11am) TBC with team
- Close out reporting and daily tracker of hours and tasks ( 5pm daily)
- Reliable 24/7 power/internet/data access.
- Available across time zones, including occasional weekend or evening coordination.
- No fixed hours, but consistent weekly reporting and check-ins required. Must meet deadlines and deliver milestones professionally and independently.
Payment Schedule
- ₦200,000 – End of July 2025 (Data/Operating costs)
- ₦300,000 – End of August 2025 (Delivery milestone) ₦500,000 – End of September 2025 (Final successful delivery)
Verification & Onboarding
- 3 professional references required
- 1 guarantor (must attend a Zoom meeting with the team and provide valid ID) Must sign the Confidentiality, Non-Circumvention, Non-Compete, and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NNNCA)
