We are currently recruiting an
Interior Designer for creative design development and the execution of clients’ projects. Blue Mahogany is a fully integrated interior design company dedicated to providing bespoke interiors for residential and commercial clients across Nigeria. Job Responsibilities As an Interior Designer at Blue Mahogany, your responsibilities will include;

• Creative design development on client projects in areas of space design, selection of color schemes, window treatments, hardware, and lighting fixtures, carpet, artwork, paint, furniture, etc. in conjunction with the design team and the Creative Director.
• Measurement of existing dimensions in project spaces.
• Production of detailed interior layouts including technical drawings, specifications, and 3D presentations.
• Material sourcing and selection for furniture, lights, decorations, and fittings.
• Project supervision including the monitoring of site progress and project work schedules.
Support roles in business management as well as client services.

Job Requirements

• Minimum academic qualification of a Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related field of study with post-NYSC experience. Specialist training in the above is also acceptable.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience post-NYSC.
• Proficiency in the use of design software such as Auto CAD, Autodesk Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, and any of Sketchup, 3D Max, Lumion or other relevant 3D modeling software to create detailed interior design layouts and 3D Presentations.
• A strong grasp of space planning and design to generate the most value for projects.
• Ability to collaborate and work well within a team including all members of staff, clients and contractors.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, time, people and project management skills, as well as a rudimentary knowledge of financial and budgetary management.
