Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Insurance Manager, located in Lagos with some work from home flexibility. The Insurance Manager will oversee daily operations related to insurance activities, manage and lead a team, and ensure excellent customer service. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining financial records related to insurance operations.
Qualifications
A Retail Development Manager at Heirs Insurance Group is responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales agents to achieve sales targets. Here are the key responsibilities and requirements:
*Key Responsibilities:*
- *Sales Strategy Development*: Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize profit potential
- *Team Leadership*: Lead and motivate a team of sales agents to achieve sales targets
- *Sales Performance Monitoring*: Monitor sales performance and provide support and guidance to sales agents
- *Customer Relationship Building*: Build and maintain long-lasting business relationships with customers
- *Market Penetration*: Discover and penetrate new markets for the sales team
- *Sales Report Preparation*: Prepare and submit sales reports weekly
- *Competitor Analysis*: Maintain full knowledge of competitors' product offerings
- *Customer Complaint Resolution*: Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
- *Broker Management*: Work closely with brokers to manage pricing and coverage
*Requirements:*
- *Education*: Minimum of HND/BSc in any relevant discipline
- *Experience*: At least 5 years of proven experience in a sales management role, preferably in the banking or insurance industry
- *Skills*:
- *Team Building and Leadership*: Good team building, leadership, and mentorship skills
- *Insurance Product Knowledge*: Excellent understanding of insurance products and markets
- *Business Acumen*: Ability to understand business challenges and develop innovative solutions
