Job Description/Requirements
About the Role
We’re hiring a proactive and technically adept IT Manager to support our growing remote team. In this role, you’ll manage IT operations across systems like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Okta, and VPNs —ensuring our distributed workforce is set up for success from Day 1. You’ll take full ownership of IT onboarding, troubleshooting, and documentation: building systems that scale, resolving technical issues quickly, and maintaining a high bar for clarity and user experience.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who brings initiative, and excellent communication skills . You should be just as comfortable solving a SharePoint glitch as you are writing SOPs or resetting a Microsoft password—and you must have experience supporting U.S.-based teams in a fast-moving startup environment.

- Troubleshoot VPN issues , especially offshore setups accessing U.S. networks and health platforms
- Provide remote support for device troubleshooting (Mac & Windows) and software issues
- Develop, update, and organize SOPs for IT setup, device management, and recurring tech support processes

- Support MDM configurations and ensure devices meet security compliance
- Assist with access and troubleshooting on U.S. healthcare platforms such as Waystar, Availity, HCHB, Cigna (a bonus, not a must-have)

- A new virtual assistant can’t access a U.S. health insurer’s site—you're on it, diagnosing and fixing a VPN misconfiguration.
- A team member needs urgent access to their Microsoft Office account—password reset and access restored in minutes.
- SharePoint live syncing is down for a distributed team—you're already troubleshooting version conflicts or cache issues. You refine the IT onboarding SOP so new hires can self-onboard with minimal friction and zero confusion.
