The HR Admin Officer will provide critical administrative support to an organization in the catering industry located in Maryland, Lagos. This role is focused on payroll preparation, employee records management, attendance monitoring, and health maintenance organization (HMO) liaison. The officer ensures smooth day-to-day HR operations and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Support:
o Collate monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leave, overtime, etc.)
o Prepare payroll summaries and support verification of payment details
o Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll data
- Employee Records & Documentation:
o Maintain and update employee files (both physical and digital)
o Track contract expirations, renewals, and probation confirmations
o Ensure HR documents and databases are accurate and up to date
- Attendance & Leave Management:
o Monitor daily staff attendance and update attendance systems
o Track and reconcile leave records in line with company policy
o Generate monthly attendance and leave reports for management use
- HMO & Employee Welfare Engagement:
o Serve as point of contact with HMO providers for staff onboarding, exits, and complaints
o Support employee health and benefits administration
o Ensure timely resolution of HMO-related issues
