Job Summary:
The Head of Projects will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of Pirotti Group's projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will lead the project delivery team, manage relationships with stakeholders, and drive project excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
2. Project Delivery
- Lead the project delivery team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Manage project risks, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks
3. Design and Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in architectural design and construction
- Develop and implement design standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure high-quality designs
4. Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
- Negotiate and resolve conflicts with stakeholders
- Perform all other jobs and tasks as assigned by your HOD, Senior Management and the CEO.
5. Team Leadership
- Lead and manage the project delivery team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
6. Financial Management
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting
7. Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate project-related risks, including market risks, regulatory risks, and operational risks
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses
- Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure effective risk management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Professional certification in project management, such as PMP, Construction Management
- Registered with the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), or Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in real estate development, project management, construction management, and site supervision
- Proven track record of success in leading project delivery teams and driving project excellence
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
