Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Head of Operations to lead and oversee all core operational functions within a banking environment. The ideal candidate will manage critical service areas including tellering, cash operations, funds transfer, treasury operations, and customer service—ensuring seamless service delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily banking operations including:
Tellering
Cash Management
Funds Transfer
Treasury Operations
Customer Service
Lead the operations team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to banking regulations and internal policies
Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and risk management
Ensure top-tier service delivery and customer satisfaction across all service touchpoints
Coordinate with internal departments to support business goals and regulatory requirements
Train, coach, and evaluate team members for performance and compliance.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in banking operations
B.Sc. or HND in relevant disciplines (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Banking)
Additional postgraduate degrees or professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, CIBN) are an added advantage
Strong understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
