Job Position: General Operations Supervisor

About the Role
- We are seeking a highly proactive, energetic, and sales-driven General Operations Supervisor / Utility Coordinator to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of our facility.
- This role is central to ensuring all utility and ambience equipment are functional, well-maintained, and optimized to create an exceptional guest experience.
- The ideal candidate is hands-on, results-oriented, observant, and passionate about hospitality, maintenance, and sales support. You’ll be responsible for monitoring facility utilities, escalating technical or service issues promptly, promoting facility features (like our entertainment and sports equipment), and ensuring the environment is always guest-ready.
Key Responsibilities
Facility & Utility Management:
- Conduct daily checks to ensure all equipment (ACs, speakers, TVs, kitchen tools, etc.) are functioning optimally.
- Coordinate and supervise all routine maintenance activities and emergency repairs.
- Work closely with vendors, electricians, and technicians to guarantee quick turnaround on utility issues.
- Keep accurate logs of equipment usage, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
Ambience & Environment Oversight:
- Ensure lighting, music, décor, signage, and general ambience align with brand standards.
- Raise immediate flags if anything compromises customer experience, cleanliness, or functionality.
- Maintain aesthetic appeal and atmosphere of all service areas (restaurant, lounge, sports zones, etc.).
Sales Activation & Guest Engagement:
- Drive guest engagement by promoting the use of entertainment features, game/sports equipment, and other experiential tools.
- Collaborate with the customer service and marketing teams to introduce small events, games, or “fun moments” to drive foot traffic and sales.
- Think creatively about how to maximize guest satisfaction and facility utilization.
Operations & Standardization:
- Supervise general operations and coordinate with various departments (Kitchen, Lounge, Clubhouse, Maintenance, Security, etc.) to ensure smooth service flow.
- Help enforce SOPs across departments and suggest operational improvements.
- Provide regular feedback to management on potential gaps or improvements in service delivery.
Proactivity & Escalation:
- Be the first to notice when things are out of place — equipment, cleanliness, service lags, etc.
- Escalate potential risks, hazards, or customer complaints promptly and appropriately.
- Step in to assist departments in high-volume moments or emergencies.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, operations, or facility management
- Tech-savvy and familiar with use and maintenance of general hospitality equipment
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Passionate about providing top-tier customer experience
- Confident, assertive communicator who knows how to escalate smartly
- Sales-oriented mindset with ability to inspire team collaboration
- Physically agile and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Willing to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays when needed.
Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 per month.
