Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain game features using the Unity Engine and C# programming language.
- Integrate third-party tools, SDKs, and plugins into game projects.
- Collaborate with the design and product teams to implement engaging gameplay mechanics.
- Optimize game performance across multiple devices and platforms.
- Ensure code quality and scalability through proper architecture and documentation.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues related to gameplay and backend integration.
- Work with backend APIs and data systems to enable interactive game functionalities. Participate in code reviews, feature planning, and project sprints.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in game development using Unity and C#.
- Proven track record of developing and launching games (preferably mobile or web-based).
- Strong understanding of Unity’s asset pipeline and working with third-party assets/plugins.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend systems.
- Proficiency in game physics, animation systems, and UI development in Unity.
- Ability to write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment.
- Experience with multiplayer game development.
- Familiarity with payment integration or gamification systems.
- Understanding of Nigerian or African mobile gaming user behavior.
