Yangaplug is a fast-growing Nigerian fintech platform offering affordable and reliable digital services which includes airtime and data bundles, bill payments (cable TV, electricity), virtual dollar cards, and a secure escrow-based marketplace for used items. Our goal is to become the go-to platform for everyday digital transactions in Nigeria.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a strategic and proactive Business Developer to accelerate growth across all Yangaplug products. You will identify and execute revenue-generating opportunities, develop strategic plans, and work closely with internal teams to boost customer acquisition, product engagement, and monetization.
Core Responsibilities
* Identify and drive high-impact business opportunities for each product area.
* Build and manage strategic partnerships to support growth and revenue goals.
* Analyze product performance and suggest actionable strategies to boost usage and retention.
* Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to launch promotions and feature enhancements.
* Create and pitch business proposals, deal structures, and strategic plans.
* Maintain a pipeline of leads, opportunities, and partner relationships via CRM tools.
Requirements
* Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
* 2–4 years experience in business development, partnerships, or revenue operations (preferably in fintech, telecom, or digital services).
* Strong strategic, networking, and communication skills.
* Proven track record in driving product-level growth or sales initiatives.
