Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise, ensuring efficient and safe handling of goods in a warehouse or production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift or other power equipment.
Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults or malfunctions.
Ensure products are moved and stored according to company procedures.
Maintain inventory records and assist with stock counts when required.
Follow safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating equipment.
Report any incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a forklift operator or similar role.
Valid forklift operator license or certification.
Good understanding of warehouse data systems and basic inventory processes.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
