Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily F&B operations including restaurant, lounge, bar, and room service.
- Supervise service staff, ensuring high standards of customer service and cleanliness.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and promotions to boost traffic and sales, especially in the lounge and bar.
- Work closely with management to plan and host events that attract target audiences.
- Monitor food and beverage stock levels; assist in ordering and inventory control.
- Implement portion control and costing systems to ensure profitability and minimize waste.
- Assist in menu planning, food tasting, and collaboration with the kitchen team.
- Train and motivate staff on service standards, upselling, hygiene, and guest interaction.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly. Generate daily sales and performance reports for management review.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an F&B Supervisor or similar role in a hotel or restaurant.
- Strong understanding of food portioning, menu costing, and pricing strategy.
- Marketing knowledge with a creative mindset to develop promotions, attract patrons, and improve lounge visibility.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Tech-savvy with familiarity with using POS systems and basic reporting tools.
- Flexible with schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience organizing social or promotional events in hospitality.
- Social media marketing or community engagement background is a plus.
