Food and Beverage Manager – Job Description Summary:
A Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations related to food and beverage services in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality establishment. The role involves managing staff, ensuring high service standards, controlling costs, and enhancing guest satisfaction through quality dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, and events.
- Plan menus in collaboration with chefs and ensure food quality and presentation.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
- Hire, train, and schedule F&B staff to ensure efficient service.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and analyze sales to drive profitability.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in food and beverage management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of F&B trends, inventory systems, and cost control. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple outlets or functions.
