Job Summary
The Finance Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the bank, including transaction processing, record keeping, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting in line with, CBN guidelines, and Bank policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain proper accounting records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and ledgers.
- Expense monitoring.
- Process payments, invoices, and staff reimbursements in line with approval processes.
- Monitor income and expenses to ensure accurate posting into the system.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports to CBN, NDIC, FIRS, and other authorities.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by collating required documents.
- Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- Professional qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or related role.

- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.

- Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month
