Position Overview:
As the Field Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence through effective management of wholesalers and distributors. You will be responsible for building and nurturing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and achieving targets. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve company objectives and targets within the assigned regions.
- Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with wholesalers and distributors to enhance product distribution and visibility.
- Conduct regular visits to key accounts and potential customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies that align with sales goals.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Train, mentor, and support the sales team to ensure they meet their individual targets and contribute to overall team success.
- Implement best practices in customer relationship management to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in field sales management within the FMCG industry, with a strong focus on wholesalers and distributors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Requirements:
- Must be a resident of Benue, Bayelsa, Nasarawa, or Ebonyi State.
