The Fashion Model for Charity & National/International Exhibitions serves as a key ambassador for our organization's philanthropic mission. This role involves showcasing designer collections in a professional manner at both national and international events. The primary purpose is to leverage the art of fashion to generate awareness and support for our cause of aiding the less privileged. This is a blended role where participation in national exhibitions is compensated with a professional fee, while international exhibition participation is a voluntary, pro bono contribution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong professional presence, a deep understanding of our mission, and a genuine commitment to our humanitarian work.
Roles and Responsibilities: Paid Role:
National Exhibition Participation Runway & Photoshoot Modeling: Professionally model garments and accessories on the runway and for national-level promotional photoshoots. Attend all scheduled fittings, rehearsals, and backstage preparations to ensure a seamless exhibition. Collaborate effectively with designers, stylists, and makeup artists to achieve their creative vision. Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as a paid representative of the organization at national events. Engage with attendees, donors, and media, effectively communicating the organization's mission and the impact of the charitable work. Participate in interviews and promotional activities to raise awareness for the cause within the country.
Volunteer Role: International Exhibition Participation Ambassadorial Representation:
Commit to serving as a dedicated, unpaid ambassador for the organization at all international exhibitions. Represent the organization with the utmost professionalism and poise on a global stage. The model's time and talent are offered as a charitable contribution to help raise the organization's international profile. Event Participation: Model garments on the runway and in photoshoots at international venues as a voluntary contribution. Engage with international donors, sponsors, and media to promote the charity's mission and attract global support. Be willing to travel internationally as required, with the understanding that all travel, accommodation, and per diem expenses will be covered by the organization, but no professional modeling fee will be provided.
Mission Advocacy: Demonstrate a genuine and active commitment to the organization's mission, using the international platform to further the humanitarian cause. Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude, inspiring others to support the work for the less privileged.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a professional fashion model, with a strong portfolio showcasing a history of successful runway and/or print work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate a passion for the cause. A demonstrated commitment to humanitarian work and a deep belief in the organization's mission. Ability to travel internationally for extended periods, understanding the volunteer nature of the international work. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus. A strong work ethic, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
