Responsibilities

• Generate a pipeline of target fashion designers and creative merchants for the Ananse marketplace your region

• Promote the Ananse platform to target merchants

• Implement campaigns to raise awareness and adoption of Ananse as key ecommerce partner for fashion designers

• Build local partnerships to support fashion designers and creative merchants

• Provide both virtual and face to face training and operational support to fashion designers and creative merchants during the on-boarding process to the Ananse marketplace

• Provide feedback for the continuous improvement of Ananse training content and materials

• Organise regular training sessions to support fashion designers and creative merchants with product development and online revenue growth

• Conduct quality assurance checks on fashion and other creative products to be sold on the ecommerce platform

• Develop partnership value proposition to make Ananse the preferred marketplace for African fashion designers in your region

• Work with fashion merchants to maximise inventory on the marketplace

• Schedule and manage regular ecommerce photoshoot sessions

• Work with internal and external collaborators (designers, photographers, videographers and influencers) to produce high quality multimedia marketing collateral and editorial content that is aligned to the brand and business imperatives

• Additional duties may be added as necessary
  

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in fashion or relevant business discipline

• Minimum 5 years fashion industry experience

• Ecommerce, social media, marketing or project administration experience would be an advantage

• Strong regional fashion industry networks

• Business proficiency in both English and French

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, conflict resolution and administrative skills

• Highly effective project management, prioritisation, multi-tasking and time management skills

• Strong entrepreneurial mind-set and problem-solving capabilities with a record of finding feasible solutions to complex problems in an environment with incomplete information and tight timelines

• Business proficiency in both English and French would be an advantage

• Willingness to work outside of normal working hours
