Our client is a luxury fashion brand is seeking a fashion designer. The fashion designer will provide comprehensive support to the production team ensuring seamless management of production operations and personal commitments. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Job description
- Attend all client consultations for bespoke outfits, creating live sketches that accurately capture the client's style needs and preferences.
- Create original flat sketches based on existing trends and mainstream designs, as well as tech packs and revision notes using Adobe Illustrator.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar programs.
- Oversee the pattern drafting process to ensure that designs are appropriately brought to life.
- Work closely with the production supervisor to ensure seamless execution of design concepts.
- Develop and maintain brand-aligned design concepts for both bespoke and ready-to-wear lines.
- Present story, mood, colour boards, and samples to the Design and Product team and to customers.
- Conceptualize and develop new collections that align with brand aesthetics and target market preferences.
- Assist the design team in creating seasonal lookbooks and design materials for product development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging design concepts to inform the creative direction of the brand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet quality, cost, and production requirements.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in fashion design, preferably within a luxury, bespoke, or ready-to-wear environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both bespoke and ready-to-wear design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant design software.
- Excellent sketching skills (both hand-drawn and digital), with the ability to create detailed technical drawings and live sketches.
- In-depth knowledge of pattern drafting and garment construction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.

Pay: ₦500,000.00 - ₦700,000.00 per month
