Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Facilities Manager located in Lagos. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of facilities, ensuring that they are well-maintained and meet the needs of employees and visitors. Tasks include coordinating maintenance and repairs, managing budgets and expenses, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supervising facility staff. The Facilities Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing facility policies and procedures, managing vendor relationships, and planning for space utilization and optimization.
Qualifications
- Facility management experience, including maintenance and repairs, vendor management, and space planning
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Budget management experience
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field Certification in facility management (CFM, FMP, or equivalent) is an advantage
