Job Title: Executive Assistant to CEO (Proposal Writing & Social Media)

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organized and resourceful Executive Assistant who brings strong skills in proposal writing and social media management. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support and will involve writing compelling proposals, managing social media content, and supporting business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Grant Writing and Reporting
- Write compelling grant proposals to secure funding for initiatives aligned with the company’s mission and client needs.
- Prepare detailed, data-driven reports summarizing findings, financial analyses, and investment impacts for investors, donors, and stakeholders.
- Craft articles, whitepapers, and thought leadership pieces on investment trends, African market dynamics, and best practices in due diligence.
B. Social Media and Content Creation
- Develop and design engaging social media content, including graphics, posts, and videos, to promote the company’s brand and services.
- Manage social media accounts by creating and maintaining a consistent content calendar.
- Monitor audience engagement metrics and adjust content strategies accordingly.
C. Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and handle correspondence.
- Prepare, proofread, and organize documents, reports, and presentations.
- Track invoices, expenses, and manage basic financial records.
- Maintain confidential files and liaise with vendors and stakeholders.
Research & Analysis
- Conduct research on legal, regulatory, industry, and business topics.
- Summarize findings in concise formats to support decision-making
- Stay informed on industry trends, policy changes etc
Key Requirements:
* Must be based in Lagos.
* Strong writing skills, particularly in proposal/grant writing and report creation.
* Experience managing social media content (strategy, design, and execution).
* 2+ years experience as an Executive Assistant, Communications Officer, or in a content-intensive role.
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Law, or related fields.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and social media tools.
* Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
