Job Description Summary:
The electrical engineer will help us advance our electrical products, systems, and applications. On a daily basis, you’ll carry out various engineering tasks, such as performing calculations to ensure our buildings meet the global safety standards and collaborating with technicians to solve any emerging issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confer with other engineers, the PM, and technicians to discuss existing or potential building.
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Supervise and train electricians on how to carry out other projects as necessary.
- Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and company requirements.
- Design and deploy sustainable power solutions for building projects
- Design and deploy efficient cooling systems for building projects
- Plan layout of electric power generating plants and distribution lines and stations.
- Investigate and test vendors' products for quality and best price.
- Oversee electrical installation efforts to assure all jobs are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.
- Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
- Develop budgets, estimating labour, material, and construction costs.
- Conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in a Electrical engineering
- 3 years working experience in electrician engineering and supervision
- Hands-on experience with supervising the electrical installations in commercial and residential buildings.
- Strong negotiation skills
