Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Dispatch Rider to join our delivery team in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for the prompt pick-up and delivery of parcels, documents, and other items across various locations in Lagos. This position requires a good knowledge of the road network, attention to detail, and a high sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver items to customers or vendors in a timely and professional manner
- Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes
- Ensure packages are handled with care and properly documented
- Obtain customer signatures upon delivery and confirm item conditions
- Maintain communication with dispatch supervisors and provide regular updates
- Perform routine bike maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and company policies during operations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE / WAEC
- Valid Rider’s Card and Driver’s License
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a dispatch rider within Lagos
- Familiarity with major routes, traffic laws, and shortcuts across Lagos
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit, punctual, honest, and dependable
