? Responsibilities
As Director of Content Strategy, you’ll lead the ideation, planning, and performance optimization of all client content. You’ll work cross-functionally with production, client managers, and analytics to ensure our content not only looks good but performs well. Your role will shape the storytelling direction and ensure each piece of content drives brand authority, retention, and conversion.
? Strategy Development
- Lead content planning across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Create editorial calendars and strategic roadmaps for clients.
- Align content themes with business objectives and audience behavior.
? Thought Leadership
- Conduct competitor and market research to find content gaps.
- Generate and pitch creative content angles backed by data and insights.
- Stay up-to-date on algorithm changes and platform best practices.
? Performance Optimization
- Use retention curves, watch time, CTRs, and other metrics to inform strategy.
- Guide A/B tests for thumbnails, hooks, and upload cadence.
- Deliver monthly performance reviews with actionable content pivots.
? Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Director of Productions to align creative and strategic goals.
- Provide briefs and strategy docs for editors, designers, and copywriters.
- Train team members on audience development and platform strategy.
? Team Building & Hiring
- Recruit, vet, and onboard video editors (short-form and long-form).
- Source and manage thumbnail designers with strong CTR portfolios.
- Hire freelance experts and creative contractors who fulfill key deliverables post-sale (voice-over artists, motion designers, etc.).
✅ Qualifications
- 5+ years in content strategy, social media management, or digital growth roles.
- Strong understanding of performance analytics for video platforms.
- Experience crafting high-converting content strategies.
- Comfortable leading client-facing strategy calls and reporting sessions.
- Excellent written and visual storytelling skills.

- Background working with influencers or real estate brands.
- YouTube channel or TikTok strategy growth examples. Experience scaling agency-side content teams.
