Job Title: Deputy Provost
Location: Ado- Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria
A College of Health Sciences and Technology in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for Deputy Provost.
Key Responsibilities (summary)
Support the Provost in day-to-day administration and academic leadership.
Oversee teaching quality, research, and curriculum development across departments.
Lead academic policies/initiatives and represent the Provost on committees when required.
Drive faculty development, student affairs oversight, and grant/partnership attraction.
Qualifications & Requirements
Master’s (M.Sc.) or Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Medical Sciences.
5–8 years cognate experience in teaching, research, and higher-institution administration.
Proven leadership and people management skills.
Strong knowledge of higher-education policies and regulatory frameworks.
Evidence of membership in a reputable professional body in Nigeria.
Ability to attract research grants and development facilities.
High ethical standards and responsible financial management.
Proficiency with ICT and common digital tools.
Age: not more than 60 years by end of September 2025.
Tenure & Remuneration
Single term of four (4) years, non-renewable.
Salary: Negotiable and commensurate with experience
