Job Title: Deputy Director, Compliance, Monitoring & Evaluation
Reports To: Director, International Development, Programmes & Partnerships
Location: Remote (Africa-based preferred)
Engagement Type: Volunteer / Pro Bono (with future consideration for paid role)

Role Overview
The Deputy Director, Compliance, Monitoring & Evaluation (CME) will provide strategic oversight and implementation of compliance protocols, monitoring systems, and evaluation frameworks across Youthup Global and its subsidiaries. The role ensures program transparency, accountability, and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Oversight
- ️Ensure organizational activities across Youthup Global, Utidia, and Portfodia comply with local and international standards, data protection laws, and donor regulations.
- ️Develop internal control policies and ethical guidelines.
- ️Lead periodic compliance audits and risk assessments.
- ️Design and implement M&E frameworks to measure impact, effectiveness, and performance across all programs and initiatives.
- ️Develop data collection tools and indicators aligned with organizational goals.
- ️Prepare periodic reports on project outcomes, key performance indicators, and success metrics.
- ️Maintain accurate records of program activities, evaluations, and compliance reports.
- ️Support grant reporting and donor-required M&E documentation.
- ️Assist in writing evaluation summaries and impact stories.
- ️Work closely with Program Leads, Product Teams, and Country Representatives.
- ️Support mentoring of interns or junior M&E personnel.
- ️Represent the organization at stakeholder meetings or donor briefings when needed.
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management, or related fields (Master’s degree is an advantage).
3–5 years of experience in Compliance, Monitoring & Evaluation, or similar roles (nonprofit or development sector preferred).
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Excellent knowledge of digital tools for M&E (e.g., Google Sheets, Survey tools, KoboToolbox, Power BI, etc.).
Integrity, attention to detail, and a high sense of accountability.
