We are a fast-growing crypto news and analysis startup dedicated to providing the African and global community with timely, high-quality, and insightful content on the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain. Our mission is to demystify complex topics, empower our readers with knowledge, and become a leading voice in the Web3 space. We are seeking a talented and proactive Crypto Journalist to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a demanding role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about crypto and content creation. You will be at the forefront of our content strategy, with a core responsibility to produce a high volume of quality articles daily and actively manage our social media presence.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Content Production: Produce a high volume of daily content, including 20-30 quality news articles, blogs, in-depth analyses, fact checking and market commentaries. You will be provided with a Perplexity Pro subscription to assist with your research and writing process.
- Social Media Management: Actively post and engage on our social media channels (e.g., Twitter/X, Telegram) to promote our articles, share breaking news, and grow our community.
- Research and Analysis: Stay on top of the latest crypto news, market trends, on-chain data, and project developments to identify and report on the most relevant stories.
- Content Strategy: Contribute to our content calendar by pitching new ideas and identifying viral topics that will boost our presence.
- SEO Optimisation: Write with an awareness of SEO best practices to ensure our articles rank well on search engines and attract organic traffic.
- Fact-Checking and Editing: Ensure all content is factually accurate, well-researched, and free of grammatical errors.
Requirements:
- Passion for Crypto: You must have a strong, demonstrable interest and knowledge of the cryptocurrency and blockchain space. This is not an entry-level position for a general writer.
- Proven Writing Skills: A portfolio of published articles, blog posts, or social media content related to crypto, finance, or technology is a must. We need someone who can write clearly, concisely, and engagingly.
- High-Volume Productivity: You must be able to consistently produce a significant number of articles per day while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Social Media Savvy: Experience managing and growing social media accounts, particularly on Twitter/X and Telegram, is a huge plus.
- Self-Starter and Disciplined: As a remote team, we need someone who is disciplined, can manage their time effectively, and takes initiative without constant supervision.
- Strong Research Abilities: The ability to quickly and accurately research complex topics and distil them into understandable content is essential.
