We are seeking a diligent and results-driven Credit & Risk Officer to join our Abuja team. The ideal candidate is a female professional, passionate about credit risk analysis, skilled in loan recovery strategies, and also confident in marketing investment products to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze creditworthiness of clients and partners
- Monitor and manage loan portfolios to reduce default risk
- Develop and implement effective loan recovery strategies
- Follow up with delinquent clients to ensure timely repayments
- Evaluate and improve internal risk control policies and processes
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate credit risks
- Proactively market and promote the company’s investment products to individuals and corporate clients
- Maintain accurate credit and investment records and prepare regular reports
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure credit quality and business growth
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in credit risk, loan recovery, or financial services
- Demonstrated experience in loan recovery and debt resolution
- Ability to promote and market investment products
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Female candidates residing in Abuja are strongly encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with loan management systems is an added advantage
