Job Title: Creative Marketing & Social Media Intern

Location: Lagos (Remote, with occasional travel)

Duration: Initial 2-month contract at ₦150,000 , with the opportunity to extend.


Outstanding performance during the internship may lead to a full-time role, starting with a structured probation period and clear path for salary growth (up to ₦250,000/month, subject to performance).

About Saro Entertainment

Saro Entertainment is a genre-pushing music and entertainment company led by British-Nigerian artist Mukhtar Sarumi (known professionally as Mukhy). Rooted in afro-diasporic identity and youth culture, the company is currently rolling out Mukhy’s second album, Kid Reborn — a bold, energetic, and emotionally expressive project centred on themes of revival, confidence, joy, and creative rebellion .

We’re looking for a talented and self-driven intern to join us as the Creative Marketing & Social Media Intern , responsible for taking our visual and social presence to the next level.


Role Overview

You will be the lead brain behind content ideation and execution across all digital platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram . From researching trends and crafting concepts to managing production logistics, you’ll own the entire process of creating content that reflects Mukhy’s brand and releases.

Your goal is to:

  • Grow our audience and engagement — especially on TikTok
  • Keep fans excited and connected through smart, creative storytelling
  • Make sure our socials are visually world-class , relevant, and consistent with the artist’s tone

This is a high-ownership role where you’ll be supported by the wider team, but expected to generate and drive the majority of our content ideas and execution.


Key Responsibilities

Content Ideation & Strategy

  • Lead the research and development of creative content ideas for each single, project, or announcement
  • Translate ideas into actionable concepts with clear direction for execution
  • Stay up-to-date with global TikTok/Instagram trends and adapt them to Mukhy’s brand

Creative Direction & Shoot Planning

  • Own the creative planning for all content shoots — from idea to execution
  • Choose references, define the shot plan, suggest props/locations, and communicate clearly with the production team
  • Coordinate timelines and logistics with support from the wider team
  • Ensure all visuals match the artist’s tone — bold, stylish, fun, thoughtful, and globally resonant

Social Media Execution

  • Post and schedule engaging content across TikTok and Instagram
  • Craft captions, taglines, and hashtags that connect with our audience
  • Monitor performance and adapt strategies to boost engagement and follower growth

Brand & Audience Building

  • Keep content aligned with Mukhy’s evolving aesthetic and project themes
  • Focus on audience growth and storytelling through digital platforms
  • Help transform Saro Entertainment’s online presence into a leading force in independent music marketing


Who You Are

  • A creative thinker with a pulse on global Gen Z culture
  • Passionate about music, branding, and digital storytelling
  • Confident leading both the creative vision and practical logistics of content production
  • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently within a team structure
  • Highly familiar with TikTok and Instagram, especially their use in the music and youth space
  • Based in Lagos , with flexibility to travel locally for shoots or events
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Access to a working laptop and stable internet connection
  • Bonus: experience using Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar tools
