Salary: 350-400k (monthly net)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer (Construction Manager) to oversee day-to-day construction activities on a mid-rise building project. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 7 years post-graduation experience in construction supervision, with proven cognitive expertise in managing mid-rise residential or commercial buildings from foundation to finishing.
This role requires strong technical, leadership, and project coordination abilities, ensuring all construction work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, subcontractors, and workers.
• Ensure adherence to architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Plan daily and weekly construction activities, ensuring optimal workforce and material utilization.
• Monitor and enforce health and safety compliance in accordance with HSE standards and site-specific protocols.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, architects, and client representatives to ensure alignment on project scope and deliverables.
• Maintain daily site reports, progress logs, and document issues or delays.
• Inspect work progress, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues on-site and proactively manage potential project risks.
• Assist in procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery to avoid delays.
• Supervise concrete works, blockwork, steel reinforcement, formwork, and finishing processes on mid-rise structures.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• B.Sc or HND in Civil Engineering or relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 7 years post-graduation experience in civil engineering with a focus on construction supervision.
• Must have hands-on experience supervising mid-rise building projects (minimum 3–6 storeys).
• Professional registration with COREN or NSE is an added advantage.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and structural detailing.
• Sound knowledge of construction methodology, site procedures, and project delivery processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Proficiency in construction management tools/software is a plus.
• Must be detail-oriented, accountable, and highly organized.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight timelines.

Other Requirements:

• Physically fit and willing to be on-site daily.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Lekki axis
• Strong understanding of Nigerian construction regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple site teams simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
