Job Summary:
The Chief Baker oversees the entire bakery operations, including recipe development, production, staff supervision, quality control, and inventory management. This role ensures that baked goods are consistently produced to high standards in taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
- Develop new recipes and improve existing ones based on customer demand and seasonal trends.
- Supervise and coordinate the bakery team to ensure timely production.
- Ensure all baked items meet quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the bakery section.
- Manage bakery inventory, including ordering supplies and tracking usage.
- Train and mentor assistant bakers and junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

Job Summary:
The Assistant Baker supports the Chief Baker in daily production tasks, including mixing ingredients, preparing dough, monitoring baking times, and maintaining cleanliness in the bakery. The role provides an opportunity to learn and grow under the supervision of senior bakers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and baking various types of bread, pastries, and cakes.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
- Monitor baking times and oven temperatures.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and baking equipment.
- Package finished baked goods for sale or delivery.
- Store ingredients and supplies in proper conditions.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Assist in stock taking and inventory reporting.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and food safety
- 4-7 years of experience in a bakery or commercial kitchen (preferred)
