Job Description/Requirements
- Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners, ensuring alignment with the company's market goals.
- Design and implement partner incentive programs to drive sales performance.
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with channel partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all partner-related inquiries and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Facilitate regular business reviews with partners to assess performance.
- Collaborate with channel partners to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and report on channel sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate with the internal sales team to manage joint opportunities and ensure seamless execution.
- Partner Enablement and Training
- Develop and deliver training programs for channel partners on product knowledge, sales techniques, and value propositions.
- Provide marketing and technical support to enhance partner capability
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create co-branded campaigns and promotional activities.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine channel strategies.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on product development and service improvements based on partner and customer insights.
- Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure all channel activities comply with the company's policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on channel sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline activities to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in channel or partner sales management, preferably in the business technology solutions industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing channel relationships.
- Experience in multi-industry client engagement is highly desirable.
- Certification in sales management, such as the Certified Sales Executive (CSE)
- Technical certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert for technology alignment or equivalent.
Training in partner management tools, such as Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM). -
